There is a nice bit of beach that is only visable at low tide and you have a 5 minute walk over the rocks to get to it & loads of weed so can be a bit slippy so I’d guess if you had very young kids might be a bit of a pain. Went on our first ever family camping holiday to Cae Du Campsite on 10th August this year, we had an amazing time here, the views are stunningly, breathtakingly beautiful over the ocean & the landscape, the farmer & his wife were very approachable & helpful, was lovely having an open fire, toasting marshmallows as the sun was setting and as the write up states we found this site truly idyllic and we shall definately be booking to go again next year, we didn't want to come home, The sites amenities were basic however we found them clean & had the basics needed to get us by, facilities to wash up, washing machine & tumble drier facilities, clean toilets, clean shower rooms, hairdryer availability & small mirror, although basic they were regularly cleaned, we found site with having basic facilities the closest next best thing to wild camping. 7.78. The 28 bus service by Lloyds coaches passes the entrance of the campsite which can take you to the nearest town of Tywyn or further afield to Dolgellau, if you wish to travel to Machynlleth or Aberystwyth the X28 can be caught 4 miles away at Llanegryn.  I don't think customer service is their thing - they're not hosts or all smiles/pleasantries but they answered all questions, helped me out with a couple of tourist enquiries and that's all I can ask, really.
